What problems to solve

Users can integrate Experion® PKS with third-party systems, including control systems, to meet different requirements: · SCADA interface-If the operating station only needs to use data for monitoring, users can connect third-party systems directly to the Experion® server. This connection is particularly suitable for applications such as utilities, pipelines and vibration monitoring systems. ·Controller interface-If the DCS controller uses data for interlocking or control, the user can directly enter the data into the controller (such as offshore systems). ·Combination-If data is needed in both the operator environment and the control environment, the data can be sent to both environments (e.g. motor control center)

Experience ® comes with a series of local SCADA interfaces and is in fact an excellent stand-alone SCADA system in itself. In addition, users can also connect a variety of MatrikonOPC drivers to Experion®. Through these SCADA interfaces, Experion® can connect directly to third-party systems, Experion® servers and Man-Machine Architecture (HMI) without using a DCS controller as an information relay station. If users need to provide third-party system data to their C200 or C300 controllers, they can easily connect through the communication interfaces provided by these controllers, including Modbus, Modbus TCP, Profibus and DeviceNet. Controller connections and server connections both bring high benefits and provide users with flexible solutions.

Modern factories have a variety of smart devices that can transmit useful information to operators and DCS controllers. Experience ® enables efficient access to this type of data (data can come from any source, such as a C300 DCS controller, MasterLogic PLC or RC500 RTU) in a flexible and seamless manner and in the same human-machine interface, ensuring easy configuration and maintenance.
